  1. I think this activity is a very stimulating way to teach children the present continuous structure so that they can improve their grammar skills.
From my point of view, teaching grammar is one of the harder tasks for a teacher as children usually do not enjoy it, but thanks to the examples of this comedy cartoon which shows how the entertaining Mr. Bean cleans his house, children can learn easily when it is needed to use that structure and have a lot fun at the same time. I think teaching grammar by using examples with images and sounds such as these Mr. Bean sketches is a very appropriate way to motivate children to learn it and to make them retain the grammatical structures more easily.
These sketches also allow children to practice orally the structure since they can stop the video and complete the sentences which are shown in the “It’s your turn” part. Therefore they can practice their speaking skills as well. And after watching the video, the exercise in the worksheet allows them to strengthen the structure through more examples.
In addition to this, these sketches are very useful to widen children’s vocabulary skills as they show the vocabulary about household chores. Hope children use it when participating in the tidying and cleaning of their bedrooms!
Thank you for the activity, Luz!
